Project overview
A Windows-native point-of-sale for restaurants: visual table layout (tap to seat), categorized menu (Drinks · Appetizers · Mains · Desserts), modifier sheets, full split-bill flow, and an animated payment confirmation. Designed for tablet-laptops on the floor — touch-friendly hit targets, keyboard shortcuts for staff, Windows title bar. Runs in a real Windows ultrabook device frame.
The brief
Target client
Independent restaurants, small chains, cafes, and food courts moving off paper or aggregator-only ordering.
Business problem
Existing POS systems either look like Windows 95 (Aloha, Micros) or charge predatory monthly fees (Toast, Square).

A restaurant-owned POS with modern UX, fewer training days for new staff, and zero per-order rake to a vendor.
